ABOUT ETA RHO

Alpha Delta Pi was the first secret society for women, founded in 1851 at Wesleyan Female College, the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women. At Alpha Delta Pi, we as sisters are dedicated to excellence in philanthropy, academics, and campus leadership. Guided by our motto, We Live for Each Other, our sisters have a supportive community built on shared values and personal growth. Azur Blue and white are the official colors of Alpha Delta Pi. Azur blue symbolizes friendship, the basic spirit in the wish we are founded upon, and white represents sincerity and truth.  

 

The Eta Rho chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1991 at California State University, Chico. It was founded on the four principles of Sisterhood, Service, Character, and Knowledge. We hold these principles close to our hearts and help each of our sisters embody them throughout their membership and beyond.
