Since 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has proudly partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities, a relationship that has become a vital part of our mission and values. Our dedication to this philanthropy is a passion that shapes who we are and guides everything we do. Through this partnership, we strive to make a lasting impact on families facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

Ronald McDonald House Charities provides families with a comforting “home away from home” while their children receive critical medical treatment. In addition to housing, RMHC offers essential resources, emotional support, and a compassionate community, creating stability during times of uncertainty and hardship.

Today, RMHC operates more than 380 houses across 64 countries, supporting millions of families worldwide each year. Since the beginning of Alpha Delta Pi’s international partnership with RMHC, our organization has contributed over $22 million toward advancing their mission. We are proud that Alpha Delta Pi supports approximately 40% of RMHC’s global operations, reflecting the depth of our commitment to this incredible cause.

At Chico State, our chapter is honored to support the Ronald McDonald House in Sacramento through hands-on service and meaningful contributions throughout the year. One hundred percent of the proceeds from our philanthropic efforts are donated directly to RMHC in Sacramento, ensuring our fundraising has a direct and lasting impact.

We are especially grateful to sponsor a room at the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House, allowing families to stay in a welcoming and comfortable space during their child’s treatment. Knowing that families find rest and relief in a room supported by our chapter is incredibly meaningful to us.

In addition to financial support, our members frequently volunteer at the house by preparing and serving meals for families staying there. We also make it a priority to spread joy and comfort by creating holiday gift baskets and handwritten cards for children and their families, ensuring they feel supported.

Through fundraising and volunteering, our chapter has the privilege of witnessing the profound impact of Ronald McDonald House Charities firsthand. This partnership is an opportunity to be part of something greater than ourselves. At Chico State, Alpha Delta Pi proudly honors our philanthropy as a driving purpose within our chapter.
